Control and
Detection
Testing and verifying ESD devices is an essential part of your quality program, and required for compliance to EIA 625. Test equipment offered by Texas Technologies is reliable and easy to use.
Surface Resistance/Resistivity Meter
The SCC-625 is a wide range, multi-scale, auto-ranging meter. It measures resistivity in ohm/square (ASTM D257 units), resistance in ohms (ANSI/ESD S11.11 UNITS) and resistance to ground (RTG) for mats. Appropriate for auditing static control items. Measures conductive, dissipative and insulative items. The meter is battery powered and simple to use. High speed electronics insure repeatable measurements.
Electrostatic Field Meter
![]()
Locate static charge before it can damage sensitive devices. This hand-held non-contact field meter finds static charge by measuring the field on materials, machines, and people. Measurement range 0-30,000 volts.
Wrist Strap Checker
![]()
The SCC-541 wrist strap tester verifies the proper operation of a wrist strap while a person wears it. The three segment display provides pass/fail indication. An audible tone also warns of failures. This pocket-sized meter is cost effective and includes a calibration certificate and a carrying case. Testers are useful for checking grounding products designed to control static electricity for the protection of electronics. The Tester is powered by a 9 volt battery (included).
Constant Wrist Strap Monitor
![]()
Constant monitor WSMONITOR1 uses a solid state impedance design to continuously test the connection integrity of the entire ground loop including the person, the wrist band, and the coil cord. The system is fully automatic and activates when a wrist strap is plugged into the unit. It provides a green light for safe condition and a red light and tone for unsafe condition. The unit is powered and grounded by the AC adapter.
