Silica Gel Desiccant

Sorb-it® silica gel is a type of desiccant made from amorphous silicate. It is a hard, translucent material with an extremely high capacity for moisture at temperatures below 75 degree F and above 40% relative humidty.

Silica gel is widely used in the Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical manufacturing industries, with applications in both packaging and shipping products. Silica gel also has applications in the Electronics and General Industrial manufacturing fields and in the Food and Perishable products industries.

Determining Quantity Required

If the container you need to protect has a volume of less than 950cc, reference our Gram-sized Desiccant requirement chart.
