Non-Reversible Humidity Indicator Cards

Humitector™ cards are a simple, cost-effective, and accurate method of recording maximum relative humidity. The irreversible humidity indicator cards are designed for applications that require monitoring of the maximum relative humidity that moisture-sensitive products have been exposed to during storage and transport. Applications range from shipping and transport of sensitive products, to storage and preservation of valuable artifacts.

Humidity indications range from 30% to 90% relative humidity. Each level of humidity indicated is represented by a blue crystal that dissolves when the relative humidity level exceeds the value shown. When the crystal dissolves, an unmistakable large blue spot is seen. The card cannot be reactivated, so it provides a non-alterable record of the maximum humidity goods or products have been exposed to.

Note: These humidity indicator cards should be considered a "one-time" card. They are not reversible; once the crystals have been exposed to excess moisture and dissolved they will not change back. These humidity indicator cards cannot be reactivated to show a lower humidity level than the maximum recorded.
