Dry pack with 3M / SCC Dri-Shield™
SCC has developed a system of products for packaging
SMD's to meet the requirements of IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033.
This standard provides methods for packing, shipping,
and handling moisture sensitive Surface Mount Devices.
Requirements for Moisture Barrier Bags (MBB), Bag Labeling,
Humidity Indicator Cards (HIC), and Desiccant loading
are established.
JEDEC J-STD-033 Approved Moisture Barrier Bag include
the Dri-Shield 3000 and the Dri-Shield 3400 Moisture
Barrier Bags. These bags exceed -033's MVTR requirement
of
0.002 grams/100in˛/24hours, and comply with other
-033 requirements.
