Bottom Seal Bags
Bottom Seal Bags
Our bottom seal bags are similar to our standard flat bags in function except they are manufactured differently. While standard flat bags contain “side seals” or “side welds,” a bottom seal bag is a section of tube that is sealed at the bottom and cut. This difference is what accounts for the strength of our leakproof bottom seal bags.
When packaging heavy, rigid, products, Fruth’s side and bottom seal bags will work equally well. Bottom seal bags excel when packaging items that take on the bag’s shape.
In the food processing industry that might include grain, flour, and various liquids.
On the industrial side, it would include fertilizer, as well as all aggregates (gravel, sand, recycled concrete, slag, topsoil, ballast, and geosynthetic aggregates). These items are all most secure in a bottom seal bag, where the particulate is likely to exert pressure on the sides of the bag.
Bottom seal bags can be customized to almost any size and produced with a variety of high-quality material and printing options. Bags can be made in Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), FDA-approved material, and recycled poly materials. Made in the USA.
