    Cleanroom Wipe Materials

    Polyester – Polyester knitted fabric provides strength and extraordinary cleanliness. Wipes made from this material can have sealed-Edges (heat sealed) to prevent loose ends and linting. Additional measures such as cleanroom processing and packaging future enhance the cleanliness of lint free polyester wipes. (Common for ISO 3-4+)

    Polyester/Cellulose blends – Another virtually lint-free material, nonwoven poly-cellulose wipes are popular because they can be engineered to meet unique requirements. Polyester/Cellulose blends are clean, absorbent and an economic choice. (Common for ISO 5 -7+)

    Polypropylene – Polypropylene wipes are soft, non-abrasive and resistant to variety of solvents. They are suitable for wiping sensitive surfaces and components. (Common for ISO 6, in some cases ISO 5)

    Cotton – Economical, durable and environmentally friendly. Wipes in this category are considered low-linting. (Common for ISO 6-7+)

    Foam – Non-abrasive and solvent resistant. Suitable for wiping sensitive surfaces and components such as printheads. (Common for ISO 6+, some variations suitable for ISO 4-5)

    Microfiber (Nylon) – Soft ultra-fine surface, abrasion resistant, durable for multiple use applications. (Common for ISO 5-7+, some variations suitable for ISO 4)

    SelectaWipe Rolls

    SelectaWipe is a hydroentangled blend of 54% cellulose / 46% polyester cleanroom grade wiping roll that can be used in a variety of manufacturing applications and cleaning processes. This economical mega-roll has 200 perforated wipes allowing users to tear off a wipe with the ease of a paper towel. A multipurpose, micro-level cleaning material, made from Sontara®, that is specifically engineered to improve cleaning efficiency. In electronics this wipe effectively removes all types of medium, with or without solvents, from stencils, screens, PC boards, squeegees, tools, fixtures and production equipment. SelectaWipes have a high chemical resistance to all current Surface Mount solvents and are manufactured from the same material as our SmartRolls® 4000 Series Understencil Wiping Rolls and 401 Understencil wipe. A multipurpose, micro-level cleaning material, made from Sontara®, that is specifically engineered to improve cleaning efficiency. SelectaWipe rolls are shrink wrapped in a protective static dissipative ESD safe film with superior static control capabilities.

    VISION 50(tm) ESD Cleanroom Wipes

    VISION 50(tm) ESD Cleanroom Wipes (VS50) are anti-static, extremely low linting and low in chemical extractables. This fabric consists of premium quality virgin polyester fibers and carbon core nylon fibers that are continuously filamented throughout the no-run knit construction.

    These wipers are knitted on state-of-the-art equipment especially for use in cleanrooms. This fabric is manufactured using numerous special processes that includes scouring, cutting, and a special proprietary cleaning process. Most importantly, VISION 50(tm) Class 100 ESD Cleanroom Wipes are laundered in a class 100 cleanroom using ultra-filtered water of 0.45 micron purity and HEPA-filtered air during moisture removal. All VISION 50(tm) wipes are hermetically sealed in cleanroom-cleaned packaging under class 10 air-stream and individually inspected with lot-to-lot traceability and using ISO 9000 standards.
