Moisture Barrier Bag Selection Guide

Moisture barrier films protect against moisture, oil, oxygen, light, and/or aroma. The barrier properties of flexible packaging films are very important whether you are in the food, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or other industries. They ensure optimum product quality and maximize shelf life.

Our line of moisture barrier bags are designed to provide packaging for ESD and moisture-sensitive items, both inside and outside an ESD protected area.

DS2000

This aluminized moisture barrier bag is designed to provide packaging for ESD and moisture-sensitive items, both inside and outside an ESD protected area.

The bags are heat sealable and suitable for vacuum packaging. Bags are printed with ESD and moisture warning symbols and a lot code for traceability.

Moisture Barrier Bags Dri-Shield® 2000 are manufactured from a laminate of multiple layers of aluminized polyester and polyethylene. Polyester provides puncture resistance. Metal layers are intended to provide shielding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and to help minimize the penetration of the electric field while providing moisture protection.

DS2700 

Moisture Barrier Bags Dri-Shield® 2700 are manufactured from a laminate of multiple layers of aluminized polyester and polyethylene. Polyester provides puncture resistance. Metal layers are intended to provide shielding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and to help minimize the penetration of the electric field.

DS3000

This foil moisture barrier bag provides protection for ESDsensitive and moisture-sensitive electronics, typically SMT (Surface Mount Technology) items. Best practice is to use with Desiccant and a Humidity Indicator Card. A nylon layer helps to strengthen the bag. The bags are heat sealable and suitable for vacuum packaging. Bags are printed with ESD protective and moisture-sensitive warning symbols and a lot code for traceability.

Moisture Barrier Bags Dri-Shield 3000 are manufactured from a laminate of nylon, foil, and polyethylene. The metal layer provides discharge shielding and minimizes the penetration of electric fields and electrostatic discharges.

DS3400

Moisture Barrier Bags Dri-Shield 3400 are manufactured from a laminate of polyester, foil, and polyethylene. The metal layer is intended to provide discharge shielding and to minimize the penetration of electric fields and electrostatic discharges.

ESD Barrier Bag 817I Series are manufactured from CADPAK ESD with four layers – Met-PET, Foil, PE, ESDSealant. Barrier Material is water vapor proof, electrostatic protective, electrostatic and electromagnetic shielding, flexible, and heat-sealable.
