Description: M-535 is an ashless oil-based corrosion inhibiting formula designed for petroleum and synthetic lubricants in turbine, hydraulic, circulating, compressor, and gear systems during layup or intermittent operation. M-535 protects the system from corrosion caused by condensed moisture and trapped water that could otherwise lead to the failure of equipment components. Corrosion inhibitors in M-535 protect metal surfaces with which they are in direct contact and release molecules in the vapor phase. These Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors form a protective molecular layer on metal surfaces above the fluid level, allowing economical and efficient rust protection at a low dose. Also, M-535 provides outstanding non-staining properties and is effective in most hydrocarbon based lubricants (including naphthenic, paraffinic, PAO, etc.).
