Mini Air Ionizer
The SCS 960 Mini Air Ionizer is a self-contained ionizing air blower designed to neutralize static charges from non-conductive objects. The proprietary circuitry contained in the blower generates balanced levels of positive and negative ions, and maintains correct balance despite variations in line voltage, fan speed, and emitter point condition. Meets ANS/ESD S20.20 tested per ANSI/ESD STM3.1 and ESD TR53.
Installation
The Mini Air Ionizer mounts easily in a variety of positions using the provided tilting bracket/stand. Place the unit on the work surface and point it at the area or object to be neutralized. Alternatively, the mounting bracket may be attached directly to or above the workstation, or on another supporting structure.
Please note that placement of the SCS Mini Air Ionizer is important in controlling its effectiveness. Its distance from the target object will affect the ionizer’s performance. As distance increases, the discharge time will increase.

Benchtop Air Ionizer
The SCS 963E Benchtop Air Ionizer is a self-contained ionizing air blower designed to remove static charges from non-conductive objects. The proprietary circuitry contained in the blower generates balanced levels of positive and negative ions. The Ionizer is equipped with a two speed fan which allows the user to select the amount of ionized air to be delivered to the target object. The Benchtop Air Ionizer meets the required limits of ANSI/ESD S20.20 tested per ANSI/ESD STM3.1 or ESD TR53.
Installation
The Benchtop Air Ionizer mounts easily in a variety of positions using the provided tilting bracket/stand. Place the unit on the work surface and point it at the area or object to be neutralized. Ionized Air Gun
The SCS 980 Ionized Air Gun provides efficient static charge neutralization by effectively removing particle contamination even on some of the most static-sensitive products. The 980 Ionized Air Gun operates from 120VAC power, and the 980E Ionized Air Gun from 230VAC power. All references to model 980 throughout this user’s guide pertain to both of the models, unless otherwise noted.
Proprietary technology provides constantly balanced ionization for consistent control of surface charges. The 980 Ionized Air Gun virtually never needs adjustment and requires very little maintenance.
Installation
Choose a location convenient to the work area and to the air supply. The console takes up very little space and is adaptable to a variety of permanent or nonpermanent installations. To minimize bends in the 980 Ionized Air Gun hose, orient the console so that the open end that accepts the filtered air hose to the hand unit points toward the work area, and the male connector points toward the air supply.

The SCS Overhead Air Ionizer 991A is designed for use with sensitive electronic components where electrostatic discharge (ESD) is a problem. The Overhead Air Ionizer 991A provides fast static charge decay efficiency over an entire work surface area. Equipped with task lighting, an ionization indicator light, and an integrated heater, it offers user-friendly operation while helping protect even the most sensitive components from ESD damage. The SCS 991A Overhead Ionizer meets the required limits of ANSI/ESD S20.20 tested per ANSI/ESD STM3.1 or ESD TR53.
